The return of Hader, who is an SNL legend, is probably what will be talked about the most in recaps of the episode.

Colin Jost and Michael Che took some time off from their summer vacations for a Thursday night Saturday Night Live weekday version of Weekend Update. "I just showed you what's going to happen to you when you go to jail, Colin", she said.

Here's to hoping the world avoids nuclear destruction, and that Hader's priceless impersonation comes back this fall.

Jost referred to him as "Hanukkah in July, 'cause he was around for about a week and it's a miracle he lasted that long".

Those who are looking to "score some more Scara-mooch" are in luck, as Stephen Colbert has landed an interview with the real Anthony Scaramucci.

During a segment led by Michael Che, Hader, sporting the Mooch's signature bouffant and blue suit, called in via FaceTime to clear his reputation. You got a little bump of me, I made you feel excited, and I was out of your system too quick.

It's also a chance for a few familiar and beloved faces to make an appearance, with the series' first episode seeing SNL alumni Bill Hader dropping in as Anthony "The Mooch" Scaramucci. I'll give you a minute to change your Twitter username to Goomba Beetlejuice (you know, if you haven't already). His incendiary, controversy-laden tenure as the face of Trump's communications team was tragically short lived-but, as the saying goes, the stars that burn twice as bright last half as long (or, in the case of the Mooch, some fraction that is way, way less than half). "All to be the king of Idiot Mountain for 11 days", he elaborated. He clarified that when he spoke to New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza about Steve Bannon trying to "suck his own cock", he was misquoted.
