Barcelona Target Inter Winger

According to FCInterNews.it, the agent of Perisic has visited Manchester United to give them the latest on the Croatian global.

The Red Devils have seen a number of bids rejected by Inter, as their new coach Spalletti looks adamant to keep Perisic.

Another attacker is on the agenda and the M.E.N. claim that contrary to some reports, United haven't ended their interest in Perisic and are ready to make another attempt to sign the Croatian worldwide.

The article claims that Inter Milan had initially demanded that Manchester United include Anthony Martial as part of the deal for Perisic - but the Red Devils have no intention of selling the France global.

Inter winger Perisic has been heavily linked with a big-money move to Old Trafford this summer but talk of a transfer away from the San Siro has quietened down recently.

The newspaper says Mourinho is looking for a player who can also be deployed in the wing-back role if needed but although Danny Rose is a target, any deal for the Tottenham star is more likely to happen next summer.

There is now an impasse regarding Perisic, while Bale has let it be known he wants to stay at the Bernabeu for at least another year, so United have been surveying their options.

However, Bale started the match and Mourinho admitted defeat afterwards, saying: "I think the club clearly wants him, the manager wants him and he wants the club so it's game over, even before it's started".
