It is needless to say the WWE Universe was quite heartbroken to hear the weekly show getting canceled with which the anticipation had always been bigger. The show was hosted by Renee Young and had rotating co-hosts, with #Daniel Bryan there most of the time and people like Shane McMahon there at other times.

The post-shows will now strictly follow pay-per-view events, WWE said. Even stranger, it truly seemed like WWE's talents were benefiting from the free-form arena Talking Smack supplied.

First of all, the WWE gave their own reasons for canceling "Talking Smack".

"We continuously review WWE Network's programming line-up based on a variety of factors, including viewership and subscriber research", a WWE spokesperson told TheWrap in a statement. "Unfiltered" was an interview show, which has aired on the WWE Network since April 2015, featuring Young talking to various wrestlers and entertainers.

Second, there was a break of one hour between the end of SmackDown Live and "Talking Smack" ever since 205 Live started airing immediately following SmackDown Live.

When 205 Live debuted on the Network, Talking Smack was moved back an hour and was taped during that show.

Past year the WWE brand split returned, and WWE debuted a new show after SmackDown Live called Talking Smack.
