In the meantime, the thought of playing the Holochess, the game played by "mighty" Chewbacca and R2-D2 in Star Wars: A New Hope is enough to excite every fan of the film around the world. However, instead, we got a new behind-the-scenes video presentation that is equally as cool as it features cast and crew of The Last Jedi, led by writer/director Rian Johnson talking about what we can expect from the blockbuster.

With the fast approaching mid-December release of The Last Jedi, Disney has proven itself to be effective in keeping information vague regarding the details about the movie.

The Star Wars franchise is known for coming up with some of the most iconic characters and species in cinematic history. Fans can see the former Stormtrooper back in action in "The Last Jedi" on December 15 in US theaters. Oh, and of course a touching moment from our beloved princess.

Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie, and Mark Hamill wowed Star Wars: The Last Jedi fans and shared new footage in California on Saturday (15Jul17). Oh those Mon Calamari! From Kylo's Dark Side chic, to Poe's Resistance insignia, to Leia's regal garb, to Finn's, well, Poe jacket - everyone except Rey, who's gone full Jedi robe! Accompanying it was a new poster for "The Last Jedi", depicting Fisher - "The General" - looking powerful and perfectly accessorized.

The images were posted on the latter three's social media accounts and on the official Instagram and Twitter Star Wars accounts. New faces to Episode VIII, who were also present at D23, include Kelly Marie Tran who plays Rose Tico, Benicio Del Toro (DJ) and Laura Dern (Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo).
