The 4G phone will supposedly be launched under the LYF brand. That means the device also comes with a microSD card as well. The only hitch is that the feature phone is said to retail for Rs. 1,499 instead of Rs.500 which seems understandable considering the features of the phone.

After Reliance had announced the Jio 4G service with free calling and internet, smartphone brands started selling smartphones with 4G VoLTE connectivity.

We are not sure if these subsidized phones will be launched as a part of an offer from Reliance Jio or will be stand alone devices. The leaked images reveal the upcoming phone will come with a black plastic body with a textured back. This might be the first feature phone to come with voice assistant. While the news source makes a guess that the feature phone might be powered by a Spreadtrum processor it is sure that the phone has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. However, TelecomTalk reports that the feature phone may come with two SIM card slots, wherein one is said to accept 2G SIM, while the other one is for a 4G SIM. However, considering the expected price - Rs 500 price - such rumours of voice assistants on Reliance's feature phone should be taken with more than just a pinch of salt. The report added that the phone appeared to be running on KAI OS which is forked version of Firefox OS (based on HTML 5). The new phone may have Bluetooth 4.1 and USB tethering as well, the report added as well as Global Positioning System.

The leaked images further show a dedicated app store called Kai OS Plus, which could allow users to download popular apps like Facebook and WhatsApp. Well, this will all open when the phone launch.

The phone will totally disrupt the Indian mobile market since phones with similar features are available only above the price range of Rs. 3000.

The key highlight of the phone is reportedly the device's ability to run some Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and a few more. Today we have managed to catch a glimpse of the aforementioned feature phone thanks to an anonymous tipster who got in touch with a technology blog called Technology Personalized.
