New 'Blade Runner 2049' Trailer Teases More Plot and More Ryan Gosling

"Good Morning America" debuted the extended look at the long-awaited sequel Monday morning. "We were being hunted!", says Deckard to Gosling's character.

The trailer heavily implies that Rick Deckard, reprised by Harrison Ford for Blade Runner 2049, is a replicant, conforming to theories running more than 35 years now.

The trailer begins with Officer K looking for Ford's Rick Deckard, who has been missing since the events of the first film. Watch the new trailer above.

The sequel to Blade Runner is arriving in theaters on October 6, thirty years after the original, and the latest trailer sheds a lot more light on the story and what's happened in the intervening decades.

Denis Villeneuve is the same guy behind one of 2016's finest pieces of cinema, the near-perfect Arrival. Still, given just how much people adore the original film, the filmmaker has already made his peace with potentially failing.

Villeneuve's film also stars The film stars Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista, and Jared Leto.

Plot details are still being kept under wraps but what we do know is that a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Gosling) has unearthed a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos.
