The actor's counsel denied all the charges related to conspiracy in the abduction and molestation of the actress in February.

The court extended Dileep's custody till Saturday 5 pm.

From the court, he was driven back to the Aluva Police Club where he has been housed for the past two days. The court also posted the hearing of the actor's bail plea for July 20.

Dileep was brought to the court in a police van amidst tight security with a convoy of police vehicles as there were intelligence reports that the public ire against the actor could lead to trouble.

The police chose to arrest Dileep based on 19 pieces of evidence that they were able to gather in connection with the abduction of the young actress on February 17 when she was travelling from Thrissur to Kochi by road.

The actor was arrested on Monday evening. Actors, who had supported him earlier, have distanced themselves from the incident.

Seeking the custody of the key accused ' Pulsar' Sunil and V.P. Vigeesh, police said it wanted to conduct further probe into the conspiracy angle in the abduction and harassment of the actress.

A section of the media has reported that Dileep's wife and actress Kavya Madhavan was questioned by the police yesterday.

The police also said more evidence including the mobile phone used for allegedly clicking the pictures of the actress and the SIM cards used by the accused, have to be gathered.

During the attack the main accused Pulsar Suni had told the victim that he was given a quotation (like a supari crime) and he was forced to do this.

On Tuesday, a day after his arrest, Dileep was removed from primary membership of film artists associations AMMA and FEFKA.

"He (Dileep) says that he has been framed in the case".

Initially the court had remanded the actor to 14 days judicial custody.
