Alfredo Angelo Bridal stores across the country have permanently closed their doors, leaving many brides without dresses.

In documents obtained by BuzzFeed, Alfred Angelo's bankruptcy statement names Patricia Redmond as the presiding attorney, and can be reached at 305-789-3553.

The store had to help the women replace their chosen dresses.

Some local bridal businesses are stepping up to help after several brides were suddenly left without wedding dresses. Wilkowski paid for her dress in full, almost $1,400. Others are offering to ship to customers, but there are no guarantees.

The company reportedly filed for bankruptcy and has not posted any information about the store closures on its website or official social media accounts.

It is Redmond's email address, not one belonging to the bridal retailer, that is on notices that were taped to the front doors of stores that were shut down this week.

"I've been prioritizing them by the dates of their weddings", Redmond said.

"We knew some people weren't going to be happy because they spent time picking out dresses, but we did whatever it took to work with our clients to find a new one", added Saladino, who also waived any rush fees to order the new gowns. Alfred Angelo bridesmaid customers in the same position will receive 20% off the current price of all bridesmaids dresses at David's Bridal.

"There was a blush one that I really liked and it looked really vibrant and when I put it on it was flawless, which is rare when trying on dresses", Wilkowski said.
