That doesn't mean ArcSys is finished with BlazBlue: Central Fiction just yet. It was announced at EVO 2017 championships over the weekend, and is set for release sometime in 2018. RWBY is an American anime produced by Rooster Teeth.

From the trailer, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle appears to utilize a 2v2 fighting system, unlike the 3v3 Marvel-esque system they're using for Dragon Ball Fighter Z.

We also know that BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is a 2D fighting game, now in development internally by Arc System Works, and it will be released in 2018 for home consoles. Cross Tag will apparently feature a "dream-team" of characters never before assembled in the same 2D fighting game, including faces from Persona 4, RWBY and Under Night In-Birth.

BlazBlue CentralFiction is now available for PS3, PS4 and PC. The studio also released a new trailer for the game's next playable character, the Six-Heroes' mightiest swordsman, Jubei.

Not much else is known about the fighting game yet, but it is already being hyped up by BlazBlue fans and fighting game enthusiasts.
