Taylor Swift's Music Is Returning To The Spotify Streaming Service

Things are getting worse for the two pop stars as Taylor has made a decision to release her entire music catalog on all streaming services, especially Spotify, on the same day Katy releases her new album "Witness". They will include the Grammy-winning "1989", according to a statement from Taylor Nation, her official Instagram fan account.

"We can confirm that Taylor Swift's entire back catalogue is now available on Spotify for her millions of fans to enjoy", said Spotify.

Swift has been aligned with Apple Music since the release of 2014's 1989 after they agreed to pay artists royalties when users were streaming during the three month trial period.

People think Swift's move is meant to undercut the release of Perry's album.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's "Bad Blood" continues. Over understated electronica, she lets her vocals carry the songs "Miss You More" and "Into Me You See".

"Witness", which comes out Friday, marks Perry's first album since 2013 and comes after the artist largely retreated for a year following the blockbuster success of her "Prism" album and tour.

Now Witness, the album that Katy Perry seems to have been promoting for the last century, is finally here.

As Buzzfeed summarized, Swift pulled all her music from Spotify in late 2014. I tried to talk to her about it, and she wouldn't speak to me.

Perry told late night TV host James Corden about the situation during the "Carpool Karaoke" segment.

Others are skeptical, though, with one Taylor fan saying: "katy called us "little girls" taylor wanted to thank her "little girls" for having her sell 100M songs by putting her music on spotify". She said the feud stemmed from a disagreement over backup dancers.

At the height of her pop powers, Perry scored a record-breaking six U.S. number one singles from 2010's Teenage Dream album.
