This afternoon: Partly sunny with a 40% chance for showers. Highs on Tuesday will drop back to the middle 80s behind the front and will stay there through Wednesday. West wind 10 to 15 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Most storms should be wrapping up by 6 or 7 p.m. Hail is also possible along with heavy rain and frequent lightning. The high will be near 88 after a morning low of 68. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 miles per hour with higher gusts. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tuesday - A slight chance of showers between 9 a.m. and noon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon.

Friday: With a high near 86, partly sunny skies forecast during the day accompanies by a 40-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms; in the evening, a low around 76. Winds may gust as high as 22 miles per hour. Rain chances will taper off by mid-morning. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. If 93L does impact our area, we could look at more widespread showers and storms rather than typical summertime pop-up showers and storms.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies develop with a low temperature of 63 degrees. Southwest wind 3 to 7 miles per hour.

Thursday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Wednesday: Cloudy conditions with a high near 83 with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day. Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. West wind 8 to 13 miles per hour.

Mpumalanga: Fine and cool, becoming partly cloudy in places from the afternoon, but cloudy along the escarpment in the evening with fog patches and drizzle.

Sunday: Partly sunny with a high near 91 with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
