Before the formal TV interaction, Megyn Kelly welcomed the world leaders inside the Konstantin Palace shaking hands with them.

Megyn Kelly has finally chose to open up about those pesky rumors that have been swirling around claiming that she is plotting to take Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer's jobs on the "TODAY" show.

"One Twitter user said, "@megynkelly You asked the wrong guy is he's on Twitter!

However, the question did not go well with the Indians.

Kelly was reporting from Saint Petersburg, Russia, where she announced that she'll soon be interviewing Russian president Vladimir Putin.

The interview will follow a panel conversation between the Russian premier and Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, and will be moderated by Kelly. The PM seemed to be a little taken aback, but replied with a "yes", and chose to ignore her question with a casual laugh.

Another person, questioned Kelly to look at her profile first before asking the question comparison. He is the second most followed world leader on Twitter after US President Donald Trump. Her first appearance on NBC network took place on the early broadcast of Today.

"Why is she wearing a cocktail dress for an interview?"

Valdimir Putin will appear on "Sunday Night" this weekend, with Kelly having already been slated to sit down with Putin for a session at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Meanwhile, Megyn Kelly previously worked for Fox News. However, Kelly returned the greeting, but only mentioning the names of Lauer and Guthrie.

A show she previewed this week by telling viewers the "five things" she wanted them to know.

She was with Fox News since 2004 and throughout her career there, she hosted many shows.
