In this renewed classic, Mario and Luigi journey to the Beanbean Kingdom with Bowser to restore Princess Peach's voice.

A remake of 2003 GBA RPG Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga is heading to Nintendo 3DS this October. It's no surprise then that the leak that Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is being remade for the 3DS turned out to not only be true, but include extra features.

At the end of the stream Nintendo also announced that the Boo, Koopa and Goomba amiibo from the Super Mario series will be compatible with Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. At the moment, this appears to be a separate mode entirely, but Mario and Luigi will be present in the story as seen in the trailer. Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions is a remaster of the Gameboy Advance game, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, with updated visuals and gameplay tweaks created to take advantage of the 3DS hardware. You also get a more strategic way to play with Bowser's Minions, which has you amassing a whole army of enemy characters like Goombas and the like as you rally the troops to go after your boss.

After all the huge Switch announcements at E3, the Treehouse team focused on 3DS titles.
