The gunman also extensively shot up the store - blasting counters and aisles - before killing himself. "You can only endure it".

There are still many questions at this hour regarding the deadly supermarket shooting early yesterday morning in Wyoming County.

District Attorney Jeff Mitchell is calling 24-year-old Randy Stair's attack at a Weis Market in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, Thursday "a mental health situation that utterly spiraled out of control".

On his Twitter home page, Stair wrote under pseudonym Andrew Blaze: "I had to die in order to truly live". Their names were not immediately released and police didn't say whether the gunman was an employee or how he otherwise knew the victims. At about 12:50 a.m. Thursday, he pulled two shotguns from a duffel bag and fatally shot three co-workers, police said.

The workplace shooting comes just days after an Orlando, Fla., man shot and killed several of his former co-workers. It happened after the store closed for the night.

The deceased victims were identified as Victoria Brong, 25, of Factoryville; Brian Hayes, 47, of Springville; and Terry Sterling, 63, of South Montrose.

Investigators were looking at Stair's online activity for clues to his motive, troopers said.

It's unclear why the victims were inside the store at such a late hour because the store was closed when the shootings occurred, reported WKOK.

At approximately 12:37 a.m., Stair was seen on surveillance leaving the store and returning to his auto.

A prosecutor has told OH jurors that the evidence will show that the 2015 police shooting of a black unarmed motorist was clearly murder, while the defense attorney says the officers shot to "stop the threat.". One witness managed to escape unharmed.

Pennsylvania State Police Troop P Commanding Officer Jonathan Nederostek gives a statement to the press as the State Police investigate the murder of three people and the suicide of the shooter 24-year-old Randy Robert Stair, of Dallas, Pa., at the Weis Supermarket on the Hunter Highway in Eaton Township, Pa., on Thursday, June 8, 2017. About two hours later, with the grocery closed to customers, he barricaded the store's exits, went to his auto to get the guns, then fired 60 bullets, killing three co-workers and killing himself.

Police said they believe the incident was contained and that the public is not in danger.
