Huge stuffed cow saves 2-year-old boy after fall out window

It happened in Chelsea, Massachusetts, on Wednesday. His adult cousin and uncle were in the other room of the apartment as he and his 12-year-old sister bounced around on a bed.

Then a bounce sent him right out the window, falling 16 feet onto the concreted below.

Conscious and alert after the fall, Gomez was held at Massachusetts General Hospital for observation and is expected to be OK.


"I was thinking the worst I was thinking the baby wasn't going to make it", Vega said.

"I was paralyzed. We rushed down to get him and we grabbed him; he was shaken", said Estrada.

'I thank God for everything; he was watching over us. Chelsea Police Chief Brian Kyes tweeted a photo of the cow, per Fox News.


Kyes said on Twitter early Thursday the boy was "doing fine". "I'm just glad that in this case no one was badly hurt".

A boy in MA has his stuffed animal to thank for protecting him.

Jose Castro lives across the street from the family in a similar three-story house.


"It broke his fall so the injuries are minor", said an official.
