"I just wanted to go home", she said, according to NBC News.

Cosby's lawyer, Angela Agrusa, focused not on the details of the alleged assault but on other aspects of Constand's narrative, including discrepancies in several police interviews Constand gave in 2005 when she made a decision to report the crime a year later. He then apologized to Andrea and her mother, Gianna Constand said. "And I believed he supported numerous athletic programs", Constand said.

Bill Cosby arrives for his sexual assault trial at the Montgomery County Courthouse.

Andrea Constand's mother testified Wednesday about the calls.

The defence has argued the two had a romantic relationship, that Ms Constand was not incapacitated, and that the sexual encounter was consensual.

When asked why she continued to meet with Cosby after the incident, Constand replied, "I wasn't scared of somebody making a pass at me. The answer was 'yes, '" she said.

That call came three days after Andrea Constand went to police. Opening arguments from the prosecution painted Cosby as a man who habitually exploited his fame for his own sexual pleasure, while the defense declared its intention to torpedo Constand's credibility. Allred immediately left the courtroom and was allowed back in after a break.

But he had also previously made advances on her, she said. "We have a collective imagination of all of the characters they portray and, because of that, we think that we really know them", Assistant District Attorney Kristen Feden said. She alleged that after several minutes of talking, she began to slur her words and told Cosby she had trouble seeing him.

Constand told jurors she had only spoken with Cosby a handful of times, all related to her administrative job with the women's basketball program at Temple.

In August of that year, Constand testified, she asked Cosby's representatives for tickets for her and her family to see his show in Toronto. She was on the stand for seven hours. Cosby even said he gave her an orgasm, Gianna Constand told the jury.

Earlier, the defense team pointed out that Constand told police she'd never been alone with Cosby before the alleged assault and was never in contact with him afterward.

The deposition Cosby provided in that civil suit, in which he admitted to many of Constand's allegations, is central to the case against him.

Constand testified that on a previous evening at his home, the actor had tried to unfasten her trousers.

Agrusa presented phone records showing Constand called Cosby that March 16 at 9:45 p.m., then later called friend Sheri Williams.

And she trusted him as a friend and mentor.

What's more, Constand's seemingly suggestive behavior toward Cosby was brought into question.

"I was mistaken", Constand said.

Frazier is best-known for her starring role in the 1972 cult blaxploitation film, "Super Fly". He played a wise and genial doctor in his 1980s television comedy series The Cosby Show.

Bill Cosby showed up to the courthouse with his TV daughter.

The chief accuser of the 79-year-old actor is expected to return to the witness stand Wednesday. Andrea Constand emerged from 12 years of silence Tuesday to testify.

While former Temple University employee became teary-eyed on two or three occasions as she was describing the incident in question, she remained calm for the majority of her hours-long testimony.

Cosby led her to a couch, where she passed out, she said. What did she say about that night?

Cosby could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted.

Constand revealed that she started feeling every week shortly after consuming the pills.
