"Let's not forget this is the same N league that attacked the Supreme Court and sent briefcases full of money to judges", Imran Khan said while talking to media outside his residence in Bani Gala on Friday.

The JIT members will be discussing the statement they have to submit to the Supreme Court after the prime minister's sons were questioned regarding their family's assets.

Exuding confidence, Hussain Nawaz said the investigators are reiterating the same old questions, adding no one can be penalized on the basis of mere accusation or suspicion.

Hussain Nawaz said he appeared before the JIT for the fifth time today and is ready to come again if he is summoned.

Citing vilification campaign against a wife of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), the PM's elder son said: "Allah exonerated her and upheld her sanctity".

A meeting of the Joint Investigation Team formed to probe the Panama case is under way at the Federal Judicial Academy.

"If any evidence is put forth then action should be taken against the accused", said Hussain Nawaz.

While referring to his younger brother - Hasan Nawaz - he stated that it was his brother's personal decision of avoiding media interaction after appearing before the JIT.

Hussain said that he was also thankful to the media personnel for keeping the nation aware of the situation despite the heat and fasting in Ramzan.

To another question regarding leaked picture, Hussain Nawaz said only those who leaked it know why they did it.

After Hussain departed to appear before the JIT, PM's Special Assistant Asif Kirmani complained about the "rigorous" questioning of the PM's sons.

Kirmani said that the PM wanted the inquiry to complete in a smooth manner for the sake of truth, insisting that the PML-N had willingly cooperated with the courts and the JIT.

He continued that Imran Khan failed to submit his money trail in the apex court. The MD hurled threats and warned the police official of dire consequences.
