They were joined by guests including Pippa's older sister Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William, as well as their two children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

James's younger brother Spencer, who starred on the British reality show Made in Chelsea, served as his best man.

The bride looked attractive in a custom-made gown by British designer Giles Deacon, featuring a high-neck lace bodice, short sleeves and a full skirt. So you know well that there was one key character who was conspicuously absent this morning for the event, held at St. Mark's Church: Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's girlfriend of approximately a year.

Middleton came to the church accompanied by her father Michael in a vintage convertible.

The wedding party included Prince George, a page boy at 3, and 2-year-old Princess Charlotte, a bridesmaid.

Mother of the bride Carole Middleton also plumped for pink - and she chose the same couture brand as she had six years ago for her elder daughter's wedding. But the star-studded wedding took on some aspects of a royal wedding, with well-wishers gathering outside the church grounds hoping for a glimpse. Markle and Harry have been dating for several months now, and recently, made their first public appearance together at a charity polo match, which means things could be getting pretty serious.

If the details of Pippa Middleton's wedding had been unveiled a few days earlier, the secret of her sublime outfit was still well kept.

Pippa Middleton and James Matthews tie the knot this Saturday, preperations underway in the village of Englefield, Berkshire.

Middleton and Matthews have been engaged since July 2016 when Matthews proposed during a trip to the Lake District.

She has written a book about entertaining and columns for Vanity Fair while also working at her parents' lucrative "Party Pieces" business.

"(Prince) George was waving, (Princess) Charlotte was waving and Kate stooped next to them.

"Prince George will be a page boy, and Princess Charlotte will be a bridesmaid".

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry were seen walking around the church shortly before the ceremony.

Middleton arrived with her father in an open-top vintage auto shortly before rain started to fall, UK's Press Association reported.

Tennis star Roger Federer and his wife were among the guests.
