The movie centers on a United States businessman - portrayed by British actor David Oyelowo - who becomes a criminal.

The "darkly comic thriller" will be directed by Nash Edgerton for Amazon Studios.

The 19-year-old daughter of the late King of Pop has been wanting to get in front of the camera on her own terms.

While the movie is now untitled, Deadline reports that it will be a dark comedy-thriller and will also feature the likes of Yul Vasquez, Thandie Newton, Sharlto Copley and Amanda Seyfried.

The film was written by Anthony Tambakis and Matt Stone, and will be produced by Nash Edgerton, Rebecca Yeldham, Anthony Tambakis, Beth Kono, A.J. Dix and Charlize Theron. Along the way, he gets reluctantly involved with drug lords, worldwide mercenaries and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Paris guest starred on an episode of the musical drama "Star". However, that was for TV, and this project will mark her debut in a feature film.

Although this will be the first feature-length movie appearance for Jackson, it is not her first acting role after previously landing a spot on Lee Daniels" Fox series "Star', which follows a girls group seeking fame and fortune.
