"Let's just say there are 15 reasons why it's better", Richardson said, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. "The locker room's a whole lot easier to get along with now". On the other hand, Marshall got along quite well with QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and WR Eric Decker.

Marshall spent two seasons with the Jets and experienced extremely varying results.

Richardson, who almost came to blows with Marshall last season after a Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, took a belated parting shot Tuesday on the first day of OTA practices. Richardson also said Marshall should've been "embarrassed," after the embattled wide receiver went on a rant during halftime of New York's 41-3 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 16.

Without even mentioning Marshall's name, Richardson leveled a pretty damning shot at his former teammate.

Richardson spoke to reporters after the start of Organized Team Activities and made a pointed reference to the Jets' former No. 15 when discussing why the locker room is a better place this year.

Last August during training camp, Marshall threw a punch at then-Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis. For the most part, Marshall is seen as a strong locker room presence after a period of time earlier in his career where he struggled in that regard. Richardson seemed to agree, adding Marshall showed his "true colors". Marshall is expected to speak to the media when the Giants hold their first open OTA on Thursday. "He sat in front of the team and said what he had to say".

"I was like, 'Man, this guy loves football.'". From that moment, all I saw was this guy is committed to being a better person and a better teammate.
