After meeting Celine Dion at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 21, Drake told his fellow Canadian chart-topper that he is thinking about tattooing her image on his rib cage.

The Billboard Music Awards 2017 just concluded after it was held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The rapper and the electronic dance duo the Chainsmokers were top contenders with 22 nominations each.

Rapper Drake is already a victor ahead of Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards after scoring 10 honours before the show even began.

Beyonce, who is pregnant with twins and didn't attend the event, was another big victor on the night after bagging the top female artist, touring artist and R&B artist gongs, as well as R&B album for her 2016 record Lemonade.

Some of Drake's early wins included top Billboard 200 artist, top Hot 100 artist, top rap artist, top rap album ("Views") and top R&B song ("One Dance").

He said: "So tonight, I want to say - Vanessa Hudgens, you look incredible tonight".

Other acts due to hit the stage include John Legend, Florida Georgia Line, and former Fifth Harmony star Camila Cabello, while rockers Imagine Dragons will pay a special tribute to late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell following his suicide on Wednesday night.

"And for the first time in years with pants on", Noah Cyrus, standing next to father Billy Ray Cyrus, introduced her older sister, who was wearing white shorts and a cowboy hat. She impressed early with her rapping skills to show her love for Nicki Minaj, then tried a heartfelt rendition of Dion's "The Power of Love". From shooting a shot at host Vanessa Hudgens to attempting to make peace with Ludacris, he had the social media talking about him non stop.

One wrote: "Celine Dion dancing to Cher's Believe backstage is absolutely the purest thing i've ever seen in a while".

BTS's group award follows South Korean trailblazer PSY, who became the first K-pop solo artist to win at the Billboard Music Awards back in 2014, for Top Streaming Song, "Gangnam Style".
