Her husband Prince William is still being ribbed for his poor behaviour - he stuck out his tongue at one point - at his uncle Andrew's wedding in 1986, when William was just 4.

After dating a string of high-society men, Pippa made a decision to settle down with 41-year-old Matthews, who popped the question last summer after nearly two years of dating. His sister, Princess Charlotte, 2, was a bridesmaid.

The Duchess of Cambridge's sister wore a high neck, cap-sleeved ivory gown with a corseted bodice and bespoke lace detailing.

But in a flawless world, he'd be single and there would be a third Middleton sister for him to marry.

"(It was) a privilege to show the craftsmanship that my team produces in London and a real testament to Pippa's support of British fashion", he said.

She arrived in a open-top vehicle accompanied by her father, smiling broadly and waving to crowds gathered near St. Mark's church in Englefield, about 50 miles west of London.

Duchess Catherine and Prince William's young children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were pageboy and flower girl at the ceremony, while the groom's reality TV star brother, Spencer Matthews, was best man. It is the same church where the bride and her family grew up attending service. After all, Middleton and her derriere skyrocketed to fame at Kate's own high-profile wedding in a sinuous, body-skimming Alexander McQueen number.

Also among the congregation of the 12th century church in Englefield, Berkshire, was Pippa's controversial uncle Gary Goldsmith and Lady Gabriella Windsor, daughter of Prince and Princess Micheal of Kent, but missing was Harry's United States actress girlfriend Meghan Markle.

Suspense is building over whether Prince Harry will use the occasion to spotlight his relationship with American actress Meghan Markle, who plays an ambitious paralegal in the USA television drama "Suits".

Hunt thought that the pearl-embellished tulle veil, which was designed by legendary milliner Stephen Jones, flowed beautifully.

Celebrity guests included 18-times grand slam tennis champion Roger Federer and the fashion editor of British Vogue magazine.

Middleton, whose sister is the Duchess of Cambridge, was to marry hedge fund manager James Matthews on Saturday.

The bride's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, have had an elaborate glass marquee built on their estate for the reception. Guests were advised to bring two outfits so they could change after the wedding ceremony.
