Gwen Svekis started the big fourth inning with an RBI single.

The Ducks exploded again in the fourth inning. Meanwhile, Baxter pitched 4.2 innings giving up four earned runs on five hits before Parker Conrad came in for relief.

OR put up a run in the sixth but the Rhodes 2 RBI double was the real game-changer.

Sophomore Kelly Welsh was the only Badger to register a hit with a sharp hit through the left middle side.

Senior RHP Cheyenne Baxter (Norborne, Mo.) cruised through her opening two frames in the circle, as the Tigers held a slim 1-0 advantage in the top of the third inning.

-Stevens had the second-best ERA (0.88) and second-most strikeouts (9) in the regional. After putting up a run off a throwing error, Chloe Miller cracked a two-run shot to take a 3-2 Wisconsin lead.

-Miller and Sara Novak were the only players to record home runs in the regional.

The Ducks struggled against UW freshman pitcher Kaitlyn Menz for much of Saturday's game, but they took control quickly on Sunday. For us, this is the third time we've been here in five years. Mercado would score on the play and give OR a 1-o lead.

"We were trying to win that first game", White said. They're all human. And I think everybody knows how close we were in that game. "I just think that it's a (testament) to the culture we have here". He also added the Tigers would not be playing much longer unless they gave her support on the mound. I thought the adjustments they made were great, I was impressed. "We proved to ourselves we can come back".

"We had a couple hiccups yesterday".
