Arsene Wenger Has Agreed A New Two-Year Contract With Arsenal

In his first nine seasons at the helm, Wenger led them to three Premier League titles and four FA Cups.

"I've got a nasty feeling Arsene Wenger will walk away from the Arsenal job today - and leave the club totally in the lurch", Wright was quoted as saying.

As the English media are reporting, Wenger will sign a two year contract extension with the club tomorrow.

"I was delighted for him on Saturday", Adams said.

Cesc Fabregas has questioned why he was dropped for Chelsea's FA Cup final defeat to his old side Arsenal.

The formal announcement will be made on Wednesday by the club.

Arsene Wenger and Stan Kroenke have reached agreement on 2-yr contract.

Arsenal will compete in the Europa League next season after failing to secure a Champions League qualifying position for the first time in almost two decades.

The Gunners were the first top-flight team to achieve the feat since Preston North End had managed it 115 years prior and the first to do so in the 38-game era.

Arsenal probably will spend big on at least one new player this transfer window, and Wenger did adjust his longstanding formation preferences by implementing the 3-4-3 late in the year, so it's not like there's absolutely no hope.

The goal rocked Chelsea and Arsenal scented their chance with Ozil having a shot back-heeled off the line by Gary Cahill before Danny Welbeck's header thumped against the post and Ramsey bundled the ball back against the same upright.

"I was nearly forgotten and that makes me stronger", Mertesacker said after the game.

"I think the first goal was very odd".

The Frenchman, however, is none too keen to see changes in his personnel - former Ireland worldwide Peyton has been with him since 2003 and Colbert, a sports and exercise scientist, arrived in 1999.

"The behaviour of some people during the season, that is what hurts me most".

"Arsene Wenger was still winning FA Cups and until this season he had always got in the top four, but now that's changed".
