Jonathan Lipnicki ("Jerry Maguire") at the premiere of "Spice World". I love work and I love the art of it.

He wrote: "As a kid/teen I was made fun of relentlessly by some people who are now even my friends on FB. I was told I was a has-been and would never book a job again", Lipnicki wrote in the post. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to go and say, 'Look at me now. This makes me really emotional.

In two Instagram posts this week, Lipnicki said he suffered daily panic attacks. (Tempted to tag him).

"Your attitude determines your altitude Brother and I know that what you are doing what you are meant to do in life". He wanted to show other kids that it's possible to face vicious bullying and still come out on the other side, noting that "it's wonderful how mean people peak in their teens" and that it can be empowering to come through something like that and still "chase your dreams". Thank you to everyone who has supported and continued to support me.

Lipnicki said he was experiencing anxiety about sharing the message, but chose to follow through because "being bullied is a universal problem".

Despite originally being scared to do interviews and talk about his struggles, Lipnicki is now happy he did so, sharing another Instagram post of part of his TooFab interview along with the caption, "This is the most open I have ever been".

He wrote underneath the screen shot of his message: "I'm sharing a little of my experience".

While Lipnicki is one of the lucky ones, many child stars have found themselves the target of bullies following their big breaks. Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace star Jake Lloyd has spoken out about how he was mercilessly bullied after his role in the prequel film, as has E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial star, Henry Thomas. He also thanked fans for their support, adding that he wasn't seeking sympathy and had chose to tell his story in a bid to help others with similar problems. "He gave me a lot of time and a lot of great advice".
