The Nokia 5 will be a 5.2-inch, more compact version of the Nokia 6 and Nokia 3 is a smartphone targeted towards people looking forward to a budget smartphone.

Nokia, the iconic brand that once ruled the feature phone market, is back, and how!

In countries like India, there is a huge population and target group that will see Nokia 3310 as their first phone or primary phone, he added. The Nokia 3310 is a throwback to old cellphones that are built like bricks.

While this is a comeback of sorts for Nokia, earlier, the company had tried its hand with global tech giant Microsoft, to jump on the smartphone bandwagon with Lumia devices, but in vain. Can you imagine a smartphone of toady's time lasting even remotely close to that long? Does it carry forward the legacy of its predecessor?

It also said it would be pushing its brand positioning in a new global campaign that aims to show HMD Global and the Nokia phones it makes "stand apart due to its human centricity". It includes "Snake", a simple mobile game that was included on the original. Reports say the Nokia 3310 in 2017 will be slimmer, lighter and will get a colourful display. The new phone is skinnier, comes in colors like red and yellow, has wider keys, and contains a send and hang up button. The device will be available in four colours - matte black, silver, tempered blue and copper.

The new Nokia 3310 has been equipped with a 2MP camera, microSD card slot, music playback support and the Opera web browser in order to bring it up to the times.

You can understand why; this was a phone that established itself as a true classic; robust, functionally flawless in its simplicity and with a battery life measured in days not hours. It offers 22 hours of talk time and close to one month of standby time.

It's 4/1 to come equipped with a camera and thankfully for the fans of the game just 1/10 to have a version of snake installed. Most networks are shutting down 2G frequencies gradually, which means the new Nokia 3310 won't work for a large audience in its targeted markets as well in the future.

There are some areas however, where not much has changed.

"Our new portfolio combines these classic Nokia hallmarks with a best-in-class Android performance and a new level of craftsmanship".
