Huawei P10 Lite detailed, so what's new?

After the launch of the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus at MWC 2017, Huawei has now announced a budget version it, which is Huawei P10 Lite.

Huawei have launched the latest model in the flagship family, the P10 lite.

Although the Huawei P10 Lite will sadly skip the United States market officially, it's likely that certain retail channels could pick it up or at least provide ways to import the device Stateside. The P10 Lite will sport a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with a 2.5D curved glass on the front and a metal frame. It will have a starting price of Pounds 299 (around Rs 24,000). Huawei P10 Lite will go up for pre-orders from the carriers like Carphone Warehouse, EE, and Vodafone, and will go on sale from March 31, as per Pocket-lint.

According to online reports, the P10 Lite will be made available in Midnight Black and Platinum Gold color variants with ceramic sandblasted finish on the back.

As for software, the Huawei P10 Lite is set to pack EMUI 5, as well as the Knuckle Sense functionality seen on previous flagships.

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus get Leica-branded dual rear camera set-up, while there's only single rear camera (not Leica-branded) in the P10 Lite. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Powering the device is a decent 3100mAh battery which also supports quick charging capabilities. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM (nano SIM + nano SIM/microSD), 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11ac), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC.

P10 lite comes in a compact form factor measuring 146.5x72x7.2mm and weighs around 142 grams.
