Giants interested in Terrelle Pryor

But this report names names, identifying the Steelers, Giants, 49ers, Titans and Eagles as the teams showing interest in Pryor. The team will likely show interest in Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson and Kenny Stills, among others, during this window. It was his first full season as a wide receiver.

After once looking like a star college quarterback-turned-fringe National Football League player, Terrelle Pryor burst onto the National Football League scene as a wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns this fall.

Another team that Cabot talks about as a possible landing spot for Pryor in her piece is Pittsburgh which seemed surprising since they just made Antonio Brown the highest paid WR of all time, Martavis Bryant is coming back, and they don't have much cap space to work with (even before working out a long term deal with Le'Veon Bell). With remarkably natural hands, Pryor dropped just six passes (two in a game in which he tore ligaments in his thumb) and averaged 1.9 yards per route run over the first 12 weeks of the season. According to Cabot, Browns general manager Sashi Brown is non-committal.

Pryor going to the Eagles would sting a bit for those Browns fans still smarting from the Browns trading the No. 2 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft to Philadelphia so the Eagles could select quarterback Carson Wentz.

Adding Pryor would give the Eagles a legitimate deep-threat and could be the speedster that would be an ideal fit opposite of Keny Britt, who the Eagles also have been linked to Monday. San Francisco has no quarterbacks signed for next season after Colin Kaepernick opted out of his contract last week.

The Giants official cap number is at $13,120,005 before the start of free agency, which opens on Tuesday at noon.
