Common Weighs In On Snoop Dogg's "Lavender" Video

The rapper fired off the tweet after Donald Trump suggested that Snoop should be jailed after pretending to fire a gun at a clown version of the President in his latest music video.

US President Donald Trump and Snoop Dogg's feud is getting uglier by the day as celebrities are joining in to voice their opinion.

Snoop Dogg's satirical video for "Lavender" makes references to issues including immigration and the police killings of unarmed black men, and features characters dressed as clowns including one called Ronald Klump.


The rapper-actor was confronted with massive criticism on social media after making an inappropriate remark towards Trump regarding Melania in the tweet he posted on the popular site.

It portrays the president as a clown who's shown with the rapper pointing a gun at him. Now, Snoop Dogg protegé Bow Wow has joined a hostile war of words, with violent threats intensified. Now that Bow Wow has involved Melania in the melee, the online crowd is going wild with comments like those below.

The short-tempered president slammed Snoop on Twitter over the music video for BADBADNOTGOOD.


Instead, Billboard reporter Adelle Platon compiled a list of singers who came to Snoop Dogg's defense.

Although rapper Ice-T was "nervous" that Snoop Dogg was "messing with the line", he concluded: "I roll with Snoop".

"Trump brings a lot of these jokes on to himself".
