Immigration and Customs Enforcement was informed and it is likely they will take him into custody, he said. A detainer is a request that ICE be notified of a suspect's release so that they can question the person about suspected immigration violations.

The suspect was released from Hennepin County Jail Friday afternoon, and ICE officers took him into custody.

Brooklyn Park police learned the man was undocumented while he was initially booked in jail, Deputy Chief Mark Bruley said.

Authorities say the suspect has a Washington driver's license, and apparently moves around the country on a regular basis.

A handgun and two rifles were seized by police Wednesday, March 8, after reports were made that a Dixon High School student was armed with a gun.

Police say the 19-year-old male student had sex twice in the bathroom, but were interrupted the second time by students. They are also not in any way connected with our school.

Dixon High School administrators say school counselors will be available for the next several days should students need assistance or support.

Students noticed the man acting suspiciously about noon and contacted school officials, who approached him. Brooklyn Park police continue to investigate the incident, but do not expect to provide any updates on the case until Thursday morning. "He didn't have a visitor's badge, he didn't have any (School District) ID or anything like that, and he said, 'I'm here to see my cousin.' And I'm like, well that's, that's interesting'".
