Lydia and Jax were discussing Jax's "wild hair", and Lydia told her son he needed to get a haircut this weekend.

Jax's mom got a kick out if it because, well as you can tell, Jax is white and Reddy is black.

Jax said he wanted his hair cut really short so he could look like his best friend Reddy, and that way their teacher wouldn't be able to tell the two boys apart.

Jax explained to his mom just how amusing it would be if his teacher got the two of them confused from their identical haircut.

Jaxon's mother posted her son's plan on social media to a few hundred friends and it took off - shared thousands of times around the world.

She sees Jax's inability to see a difference between himself and his friend as a parenting win.

Jax thought his new 'do would trick his teacher and she wouldn't be able to tell the boys apart, although Jax is white and Reddy is black.

And she added, "If this isn't proof that hate and prejudice is something that is taught I don't know what is". Rosebush said Tuesday. "I just made the post because my kid is hilarious and cute".

On Friday, Jax asked his mother Lidia if he would be allowed to cut his hair to match his friend's in an adorable plot to trick their teacher. I never anticipated this.

A pair of preschoolers hatch a plan to trick their teacher and in the process share a world of lessons they don't even know they're teaching.

'One day when I am gone, they will inherit all that I have and carry on our family name.

According to WAVE, Reddy and his brother are from Africa. "There's an innocence children have that sometimes we lose".
