Despite all such criticism, West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis said, "I'll be surprised if he goes".

When asked how he knew Pulis added -perhaps jokingly - "Because he told me".

The FC crew cut Arsenal no slack in their loss to West Brom, continuing to pile blame on Wenger's poor leadership.

Arsenal now sit six points behind fourth placed Liverpool, who occupy the final Champions League spot after their 1-1 draw with Manchester City on Sunday, but the Gunners have two games in hand over Jurgen Klopp's men - as do Manchester United, who jumped two points ahead of Wenger's side on Sunday. "You will soon know".

Arsene Wenger has cemented Arsenal's standing amongst European football's financial elite.

Arsenal has denied a claim in German daily Bild that it has approached Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel as a possible Wenger replacement.

Robson-Kanu, who scored the second goal against Arsenal after coming on as a substitute, said West Brom would try to build on their victory at fifth-placed Manchester United on April 1 after the global break.

"But I give my best as long as I am at the club, if it is for two more years or 10 more years or four more months".

Wenger, whose contract expires this summer, confirmed after the match that he has now made a decision over his future which will be revealed soon, but insists that finishing outside the top four would not affect whether he stays or leaves.

"I take a bigger perspective than that".

'It will not necessarily be linked with (a Champions League place) because I've done the top four 20 times.

"Three years in football is a long time", Soriano said.

"We lose game after game at the moment and that, for me, is much more important than my future".

Do you think Arsene Wenger will sign a new contract? Although Spurs somehow managed to not finish above them on the final day of last season, there's a strong sense this season (backed up by the current league table) that Mauricio Pochettino's men have overtaken Arsenal as the stronger of North London's teams.
