Apple launches iPhone 7 Red and we love it!

Apple has announced limited edition (PRODUCT) RED iPhones which feature a deep crimson matt aluminium finish and the same specs as the regular iPhone line-up. The phone has a red aluminum finish body and a white front surface.

According to Apple's official site, the limited edition iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus was released in celebration of the 10-year partnership between the Cupertino tech giant and (RED).

The special edition iPhone joins the current (PRODUCT) RED lineup, which includes the full iPod line of products, Beats Solo 3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones, Beats Pill+ Portable Speaker, the iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case and a range of accessories for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.


After a decade of turning its products red in a fundraising fight against HIV/AIDS, Apple has finally adopted the hue for its biggest product of all.

(RED)'s CEO Deborah Dugan confirmed that Apple's efforts have been significant to the company.

Apple is the world's largest corporate donor to the Global Fund, contributing more than United States dollars 130 million as part of its partnership with (RED).(RED) provides access to life-saving HIV/AIDS programs in sub-Saharan Africa, where almost two thirds of the world's HIV-positive population resides.


The iPhone SE has been updated with new storage options of 32GB and 128GB, replacing the older 16GB and 64GB options. They will become available on March 24. The meaning behind the new red iPhone 7 is not just a bold color choice.

Apple also introduced a video making app called Clips on iPhone and iPad, with the aid of which users can add stickers, effects, and music to their multi-clip videos.

The 128GB model is priced at £819, with the 256GB option coming in at £919.
