Pogba meets Pogba as Les Verts face United

The build-up to Manchester United's Europa League clash with Saint-Etienne centred around the battle between two brothers; Red Devils' record signing Paul Pogba vs. his older sibling, Florentin. And this was primarily because, during those glory years, players understood what playing for this badge meant, the pressures that came with being a United player and the expectations placed on their shoulders.

Florentin, born in the Guinean capital Conakry prior to his parents' move to France, has been with French side St Etienne since 2012 and first played for his West African nation in 2010.

The brothers came face-to-face in a competitive match for the first time at Old Trafford and were seen chatting before the game and at half-time.

"In terms of being the world's most expensive player, I think he has put that to one side because it's more an issue for the media - he is not letting it bother him".

"We know it's a special occasion for the Pogba family and the Pogba brothers", Bailly said Wednesday, as quoted by the Daily Mirror. "It will be easier for us in the next game but it's not finished".

Florentin has not been a regular starter this season, but in recent weeks Saint-Etienne coach Christophe Galtier has found a place for him at left-back.

Earlier this month, he told Europe's governing football body Uefa that it would be "weird" facing his younger brother. I'm not going to knock him out.

However, it is not the fact that the Pogbas will be on parade that is the headache of Manchester United gaffer, Jose Mourinho.

They face playing a minimum of 65 games if they reach the FA Cup and the Europa League finals.

"It is not hard, it is impossible, for the lady to choose", the Portuguese said.

It could have been even better had Paul Pogba not sent a header rattling off the goal-frame before Zlatan Ibrahimovic completed a show-stealing hat-trick.

"I wanted to score", he added.

The Sparta Rotterdam striker, who previously played for Wrexham, Partick Thistle and Crewe Alexandra, also wore a half and half shirt.
