Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he is uncertain if Gabriel Jesus will play again this season.

Since joining City in January Gabriel established himself ahead of Sergio Aguero in Pep Guardiola's team after scoring three goals in his first two Premier League appearances.

The Brazil global suffered a fractured metatarsal during City's 2-0 Premier League win over Bournemouth last Monday and travelled to Barcelona for surgery.

"Last night, he made an operation and it was good", Guardiola said. Sergio was more than professional.

Guardiola has fielded strong line-ups in the FA Cup until this fifth round stage and the game also appears a flawless opportunity for captain Vincent Kompany, who started the fourth round win at Crystal Palace to continue his comeback from injury.

"I'm going to decide [on my keeper] tomorrow", Guardiola told a news conference.

He may no longer be president but Inter legend Massimo Moratti has advised the club that to make a move for Gabriel Jesus some day.

"I don't have doubts", he said.

"Every player has his quality".

"I'm not asking to Sergio: 'You have to do what Gabriel did.' Just go there and play as best as possible".

"He was treading badly with his right foot, but we will see what the doctors will say", said Fernandinho.

"Yesterday was a rugby game in their stadium, we can imagine the conditions".

"In the cup there are no second chances".

Guardiola expects a test from Huddersfield, who are third in the Sky Bet Championship. You are in or you are out in that competition.

After the victory over Bournemouth, Guardiola acknowledged the important role he expects Aguero to fill over the remainder of the season.
