Lindsay Lohan Defends Trump: 'If You Can't Beat Him, Join Him'

Calling to support Trump may have been particularly hard for Lindsay Lohan, given her newfound interest in Islam, and the President's supposed anti-Islamic rhetoric.

The former child star spoke of growing up in an environment like Hollywood, saying "I think you have to just always keep in mind to slow down, and just really sit and look at what you have, and where you want to go with that". "He is the president-we have to join him. If you can't beat him, join him", she said.

It's been a rough week for Donald Trump, but one thing he can take solace in: He's got the support of Lindsay Lohan. "And show America in the right light helping refugees".

However, she explained that while she has been studying the Quran and is open to all religions, she has yet to convert.

"I was scared to come here with everything going on because of my personal beliefs."

Lohan has been meeting with Syrian refugees in Turkey as the ambassador for German energy drink Mintanine. The company is donating money and cans of the beverage to the refugees.

Lindsay Lohan has spoken: Support President Trump.

It's not the first time that a call to support Trump has been made by stars.

Huh. We're honestly still floored by Lohan's defense of the Trumpster, especially after audio from a 2004 interview with Howard Stern featured the president saying that Lindsay was a "deeply troubled woman" but probably "great in bed".

Lohan said she was anxious returning to the USA because of the current political climate since Mr Trump's travel ban on people in Muslim-majority countries.
