Ex-EastEnders star John Partridge told Good Morning Britain hosts, Charlotte Hawkins and Ranvir Singh, that he understands the pressure Danny Dyer must be under.

Reports in The Sun today claim the star had been forced by producers to take an immediate break from his role as Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter after displaying "worrying behaviour" in public recently.

Danny Dyer has reportedly taken an "enforced break" from EastEnders amid concerns from producers that he needs to "sort his life out". "This was not enforced by bosses nor has he quit the show".

It's led to the decision to give him a break from the soap which could last for several weeks in order to get the dad-of-three "back to his best". Bosses are determined that the time off will get him "back to his best" and that he will bounce back after appearing exhausted. He has twice won best serial drama performance at the National Television Awards.

But yesterday it was reported that Danny is leaving EastEnders to "sort his life out".

'Having Danny off is a total nightmare, ' the insider tells The Sun, 'It causes total chaos for both the writers and producers.

The source admitted it has caused a bit of a problem for upcoming storyline: "The storylines are worked out months in advance and no one was expecting him to be off".

'It's all anyone is talking about on set'.

An EastEnders spokesperson declined to comment when approached by The Sun.

Giving up drinking wasn't the only thing Danny tried to give up in 2017, however the potty-mouthed TV personality was able to stop swearing from less than four days into the new year. "It's been really rewarding but there's other stuff out there. I'm sure everybody loves Danny", he told the hosting duo.

Danny's off-screen antics have made headlines in the past.
