This summer is shaping up to be huge for Arsenal and it could leave the Gunners with a lot of work to do, with the most daunting task being the possibility of having to search for a replacement for Alexis Sanchez when, in reality, there isn't any player like him.

And to make matters worse for the Gunners, thousands of fans in Chile have organised a peaceful protest in a bid to convince the forward that he's wasting his time at Arsenal.

"We Chileans are exhausted of seeing one of our stars working by himself to make his team get through", the details of the planned march read.

A Facebook event named "National March for Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal" has been organised with almost 7,000 supporters planning to campaign along the streets of Santiago - the capital of Sanchez's home country - on March 1.

"We don't want him to play at Real Madrid, nor go back to Barcelona, we don't give a f*** where he plays, we just want him to fight along with 10 other players to get the results".

The likely separation of the two (i.e. Alexis leaving Arsenal) is the most realistic end game.

"He doesn't deserve to be alone".

Premier League giants Arsenal face a tough task of convincing Alexis Sanchez to stay following their 5-1 thumping at the hands of Bayern Munich in midweek.

Per The Sun's Charlie Wyett, Sanchez "let rip at team-mates" in a dressing-room bust-up following the Bayern defeat and now "plans to quit Arsenal" in the summer.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on Friday confirmed Sanchez had flown to Spain as he has a court case in Barcelona.
