Despite this change to the opening of "Outlander" Season 3, there is still plenty of material that will likely stay faithful to the books.

"For a moment, I groped among my memories. Anne, when he'd come so close to a self-chosen death, was one I seldom revisited. The abbot's hands, touching Jamie's forehead, eyes, lips and palms, delicate as a hummingbird's touch, anointing his dying nephew with the holy chrism of Extreme Unction".

Meanwhile, in the 18th century, Jamie suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. The special edition will be chock-full of fun extras, including a 32-page behind-the-scenes book, 20 minutes of bonus footage and an extended interview with Galbadon.

The leaked photos of Jamie give the show's followers a glimpse of the bloody battles that they should anticipate once "Outlander" returns to its regular programming.

"My books are huge and take an enormous amount of time to write", explains Galbadon in a blog post.

According to EW, this is just part of a longer chunk that will be included with the Outlander Season 2 special edition BluRay, available exclusively through Amazon beginning November 1st. "Quality takes time and can not be rushed".

Sam Heughan shows some skin in the brand new cover story for Entertainment Weekly in anticipation of the new season of his show Outlander.

The role was previously played by the adorable Romann Berrux, a French actor who stole the hearts of fans (and the wallets of unsuspecting fools in that French brothel). He has grown up to be a charming and devilishly romantic man who wears his heart on his sleeve. He has performed in theater acting and has already appeared in films and several TV series, such as "The Walk" and "The Borgias".

Do you think "Outlander" season 3 will be more exciting than the previous season?

International Business Times noted Showrunner Allan D. Moore's admission of the modifications styled on the opening scene of "Outlander" Season 3.

Per a report from the publication, French actor César Domboy ("Borgia") has been cast as the older version of the now-not-so-wee Fergus on the upcoming third season.
