The Coach who took over from Japanese Kenichi Yatsuhashi leaves the Rainbow Club after just two-months in charge of the team.

Coach Yaw Preko began his duties as the interim Coach for Hearts of Oak when he supervised the team's training session on Wednesday morning at the Ajax Park.

With Sergio Traguil, who was appointed as head coach of the club when Kenichi Yatshuhatshi parted ways with club, being demoted, Preko oversees things for the last three games.

"The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club wish to inform the general public especially its followers that changes have been made in the club's technical department", a club statement read.

Hearts now have 42-points and placed fourth on the league table and are confident to pick the second slot if Aduana and Kotoko should slip up in the three remaining matches.

GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal that the European tactician was asked to revert to the side's feeder club-Auroras, a move he considered massive demotion and disrespectful.

Hearts have plummeted from being potential winners of this seasons Ghana Premier League (GPL) title and could finish outside the top four at the end of the campaign.

The defeat effectively makes it absolutely hard for the side to end their long wait for a crown as they will need to win their remaining three matches to stand any slim chance.
