Pence said that he and Trump will bring the economy back.

But to gain the attention of more voters, Johnson, the former Republican governor of New Mexico, would have to get into the nationally televised debates that begin September 26 at Hofstra University in NY.

Potential voters inside and outside were very excited to share their support for Governor Pence and Donald Trump. And Republican Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence, who cracked a joke about the air conditioning as he greeted the crowd, kept his remarks relatively brief.

Pence countered that because foreign donors can't contribute to a presidential campaign, it's possible they were seeking political leverage within the USA government by donating to the Clinton Foundation. We need to change the direction of our country, and Donald Trump and Governor Mike Pence are the right people for the job right now.

He also spoke about the importance of the next president selecting the right people to serve on the supreme court.

"This [foundation] becomes a conduit for people to gain access, and gaining access is a favor", Pence said on CNN's State of the Union.

He went on to tell his family story about emigrating from Ireland and how both he and Trump understand the American dream.

Also among the well-known Georgians who addressed the crowd before Pence's appearance was radio host Herman Cain, who spent most of his time addressing the "lies" he said had been put out by Hillary Clinton and her campaign.

"Make the calls, knock on the doors, tell your neighbors and friends, but on Election Day and in early voting, be there, be a part of it".

"We have but one choice, and that man is ready", Pence said.

Trump's first tweet about the shooting ended this way: "Just what I have been saying". William Cutshaw said that he has stood with Trump from the beginning.

"I understand that in the course of competitive politics, it gets a little rough sometimes, it gets a little personal".

"Does he have his quirks? Yes!"

Maria Molencamp came to the USA from Columbia just two years ago.

"When we talk about making America great again, we mean to make America great again for every American regardless of race or creed or color", Pence said. And her husband feels the same way.

"We end up being late to stuff, because if there is someone wearing a uniform anywhere that he walks, Donald Trump stops and he will always honor the men and women that have worn the uniform of this country at home and overseas", said Pence. He's going to make a door and she went through that door already. "She's done it he right way and there is a right way to do it and she is a prime example of what an immigrant should do", said Molencamp.

Trumps campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, said the candidate has said that people who want to be in the USA legally must apply through legal means.

Pence was not done after his 45-minute speech wrapped up in Perry and traveled up to Atlanta for another rally starting at 7 p.m.
