New Joker Deserves Standalone Movie

One possibility for Harley and Joker to be reunited on screen could be to fight Ben Affleck's Batman - who also appears in "Suicide Squad" - in the forthcoming standalone Dark Knight movie, and that's something Leto is really interested in. When one of the villains breaks free, it takes a suicide mission (hence the name) to save the world.

In a surprising turn of events, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ended up being a better film than Suicide Squad.

"Suicide Squad" is comic book's answers to "The Dirty Dozen".

Fans and critics have been split on the newest DC Comics movie, 'Suicide Squad, ' since its release. Enchantress should have gone rogue first, and then, Amanda Waller should have assembled the squad. Chaotic characters create a chaotic story, and it often feels disjointed moving from conflict to conflict without much direction.

The Joker's plot in the movie was unnecessary.

Considering this film introduces so many characters to the DC universe, it was always going to be a tough ask that wasnt going to please every fan, but director David Ayer (Fury, End of Watch) does a commendable job balancing the juggling act.

"The movie is good, the movie has a great heart and the movie is made for the fans", he continued. I enjoyed the sense that anyone actually could die and left me on the proverbial edge wondering who might not be there the next moment - many large budget movies don't take such risk, for example: I am never in fear that Batman might die in a Batman movie. She seemingly pops up out of nowhere and goes back to her life as if nothing has changed. The main problems with BvS were that none of the characters seemed fully developed, some of the scenes dragged on for what seemed like forever and a lot of the writing was clumsy and awkward. The two previously worked together on the also underwhelming Focus past year, and despite the mediocre content they've been given, they clearly enjoy working with each other and are naturals together. Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnamen), and Dr. June Moon/Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) had no chemistry making their relationship feeling forced. But characters, like Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Slipknot (Adam Beach) and Boomerang (Jai Courtney) barely had any lines or objective in the film.

This plan inexplicably works after Waller convinces the officials, and herself, that she really can control these archvillains. Hence, she emphasized that these cuts should be given a chance to be shown on big screens.
