"But the thing about science fiction and fantasy is that you can never, ever say it's the end, it's over", Stewart explained in a new interview with ITV.

Hugh Jackman, who stars as Wolverine in both the X-Men and the off-shoot Wolverine movies, has also said that it will be his last outing in the role that shot him to world-wide fame.

We know that the third installment in the Wolverine franchise will be the last for its lead Hugh Jackman. The reporter noted that the character has already died once and Stewart said "Yes, Jean Grey vaporized me!"

Meanwhile, no official title has been confirmed for "The Wolverine 3" only speculations that it could be called "Weapon X" or "Wolverine: Weapon X".

"Don't worry. That's just a "Makeup" for Wolverine 3 movie".

The X-Men franchise owes a lot to Sirs Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, whose characters Professor X and Magneto did a lot to elevate the early movies in the series.

Hugh is now reprising his role as the X-Men hero for the final time.

One fan commented: "That's the old man Logan beard..."

If this is the end of Stewart's relationship with X-Men, will he at least be going out on a memorable note? The only way Wolverine could overcome this or simply endure the pain is by talking to a friendly voice, and who better than Professor X himself to do that. He said that he would be nothing like the Professor everyone has seen in the past "X-Men" films.

The as yet untitled Wolverine 3 movie takes place in the future, reportedly with a violent Western vibe, and fans will finally see Hugh Jackman as a worn, aged, Wolverine.

What do you think Prof.
