Manchester City sign Bravo from Barcelona

The 33-year-old Chile global goalkeeper won it all in Barcelona, claiming two La Liga titles, the Champions League, as well as the Copa del Rey, Supercopa de Espana, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

City host West Ham United in their next league game on Sunday.

Guardiola says the club is trying to do the best for all involved and claims he would be happy to keep those players who fail to secure moves elsewhere involved in the first-team set-up until January rolls around.

Guardiola values Bravo because of the goalkeeper's high-level experience with Barca and Copa America champion Chile, and his ability to start attacks from the back - a trait of Guardiola's sides and the reason why Joe Hart has lost his starting place at Etihad Stadium. He played in Real Sociedad and after two years in Barcelona, playing important games in the national team, helped with his teammates create something special in Chile. "It's enough, we have 30 players, it's enough".

All of which would mean Hart having to be part of a substitute rotation behind Bravo if he fails to find a new club - on loan or permanently - before the end of the month.

Hart has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Sunderland, while Italian clubs AC Milan and Torino are also thought to be interested.

Joe Hart is positive that a solution will be reached surrounding his future at Manchester City, the goalkeeper has said after helping the club advance to the group stages of the Champions League.

"It is not easy to leave a club like Barcelona where I had two fantastic years, but the opportunity to work with Pep Guardiola was too good to refuse", he added.

"He deserves what he deserves, I will try to be fair with him. We're going to decide the best for Joe, but for Willy and Angus as well", Guardiola told reporters at City's training centre. I was 13 years old when I went to their academy and promoted to a professional player and trainer.

"Tonight I played for Man City and I've enjoyed it and I have done every time I have played for Man City", he said.

"Now I will challenge the other great goalkeepers the club has and together I hope we can win many trophies". "I have had a lot of good nights in football, but it was a really nice night".
