The film, to air October 22 at 9 p.m. EDT, follows the former congressman as he runs for New York City mayor in 2013, two years after he quit Congress when it was revealed he was sending women sexually explicit messages on social media. A documentary offering a cringe-inducing inside view of his mayoral campaign and its unraveling played in theaters earlier this year and is set to air on Showtime this fall.

Yes, the disgraced former Congressman has once again been caught with his finger on the "send" button, as over the weekend The New York Post printed a detailed description, including pictures, of a series of risque text messages Weiner sent to someone who wasn't his wife past year.

Trump wasted no time pouncing after Abedin said she was separating from Weiner.

Since 2011, Weiner has been the focus of attention in the tabloids and this year he had once again appeared in the news due to the release of a documentary entitled "Weiner" concerning his failed NY mayoral campaign.

Readers quickly began guessing that the item's subjects were none other than Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner, with this response fast becoming one of the most popular guesses. Less than 24 hours later, Abedin announced their separation.

But Trump, who has contributed money to both Democrats and Republicans, including his rival Hillary Clinton, was supportive of Weiner in the past.

"I know Anthony has said this before, but Jordan was the best thing that happened to either of us", she added. When the tabloids got the story, Abedin stood by her husband's side and told the press she loved and forgave her husband.

Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, is Hillary Clinton's closest advisor.

You know it wouldn't take long for the ever-tactless Donald Trump to offer his own infuriating and insulting comments. "It's just another example of Hillary's bad judgment". "It is possible that our country and its security have been greatly compromised by this".

Then, on November 17, 2015, the two engaged in a revealing discussion about Weiner's future, with the woman, who was based out West, asking whether he would be "moving to DC" if Clinton becomes president. Abedin will have to focus - and try not to think about her personal problems. As details of the online affair became known it emerged he had continued sexting at least three women since 2012, one of whom called him an "argumentative, perpetually horny middle-aged man".

"Many working moms feel this way - there is a lot of guilt", Abedin said. In the August issue of Vogue, Ms Abedin spoke of balancing motherhood with a strenuous campaign job.

Abedin has been tangled in several ethical and legal controversies involving Clinton and the Clinton family charity. Federal prosecutors declined to file charges in the investigation, but FBI Director James Comey said Clinton and her aides had been "extremely careless" in their handling of classified information.

Weiner said he had undergone therapy after the first sexting scandal, according to media reports.

But in 2013 another scandal - in which it emerged he had been sexting under the pseudonym of Carlos Danger - derailed his bid to be elected New York City mayor. Two of these allies said they were told that some kind of statement would be coming and that they were urged to respect Ms Abedin's privacy.

Weiner wrote to Weiss about wearing tights and a cape. Weiner should have been shown the door years ago.
